2. LED Heat-Sink Technology with Quick Focus® Spot-to-Flood Beam Control

The ML300LX 2D uses LED technology with LED Heat-Sink Technology to help manage heat generated by the LED and support efficient brightness and power management. Its optical system incorporates Maglite® Quick Focus®, providing rapid adjustment of the beam directly through the flashlight head.

With less than a ¼ turn of the head, the beam adjusts from a concentrated spot for longer-distance viewing to a broad flood for illuminating a wider nearby area. The ML300LX 2D operates on two standard D-cell alkaline batteries, providing a widely available and easily replaceable power source without requiring a proprietary rechargeable battery or charging system.
