Disposal of Used Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

In accordance with the German Battery Act (BattG), we would like to inform you of the following:

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that batteries must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste, particularly household waste.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries may contain mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb). If this is the case, the corresponding chemical symbols will appear below the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

You are legally required to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries after use. We accept them free of charge at our shipping warehouse located at:

MAG-Eubama GmbH & Co. KG Saline 14 78628 Rottweil Germany

Batteries may contain substances that are harmful to the environment and human health. Special care must be taken when handling batteries containing lithium. Lithium is a flammable substance and, if handled improperly, can ignite easily and cause fires. By collecting and recycling used batteries and rechargeable batteries separately, you can help prevent negative impacts on the environment and human health.

We encourage you to minimize battery waste whenever possible by choosing longer-lasting or rechargeable batteries.

Please also help prevent littering in public spaces. Do not carelessly discard batteries or electrical and electronic equipment containing batteries. Instead, ensure they are disposed of properly.

We also encourage you to consider whether batteries can be reused rather than discarded. Used batteries may, for example, be made suitable for reuse through reconditioning or repair.
