The Maglite® ML50LX® 2-Cell C LED Flashlight combines high-performance LED illumination with a rugged, aggressive-grip design built for home, work, emergency preparedness, outdoor activities, vehicle use, security, and general-purpose illumination. Powered by two standard C-cell alkaline batteries, it produces up to 466 lumens, projects a beam up to 291 meters (approximately 955 feet), and delivers 21,197 candela of peak beam intensity. Three power levels provide 8 hours 15 minutes on High, 13 hours on Low, and up to 109 hours in Eco Mode. The ML50LX 2C combines long-range beam performance with multiple output levels and extended battery life. At maximum output, the flashlight produces 466 lumens and projects a focused beam up to 291 meters (approximately 955 feet) with 21,197 candela of peak beam intensity.

Three output levels allow brightness and battery life to be matched to the task. High delivers 466 lumens for up to 8 hours 15 minutes, Low delivers 108 lumens for up to 13 hours, and Eco Mode delivers 25 lumens for up to 109 hours. The extended Eco runtime provides more than four days of continuous light for emergency preparedness and other situations where conserving battery power is important.

2. LED Heat-Sink Technology with Quick Focus® Spot-to-Flood Beam Control

The ML50LX 2C uses LED technology with LED Heat-Sink Technology to help manage heat generated by the LED during operation and support efficient performance. Its LED and optical system are paired with Maglite® Quick Focus®, allowing the beam pattern to be adjusted quickly at the flashlight head.

With approximately a ¼ turn of the head, the beam changes from a concentrated spot for longer-distance viewing to a wider flood for illuminating a broader nearby area. This allows the same flashlight to transition quickly between long-range viewing, general illumination, work tasks, and close-range use.

3. QuickClik® Multi-Mode Operation with 4 Selectable Function Sets

The ML50LX 2C uses Maglite®'s QuickClik® electronic switch to provide multiple operating functions through a single switch. Available functions include Full Power, Low Power, Eco Mode, Momentary, and Strobe, organized into four activity-based function sets.

The General function set provides Full Power, Low Power, and Eco. Outdoor provides Full Power, Low Power, and Strobe. Law Enforcement provides Momentary, Full Power, and Eco. The ML50LX 2C operates on two standard C-cell alkaline batteries, providing a readily replaceable power source without requiring a proprietary rechargeable battery pack or charging system.
