The Maglite® ML50L® 2-Cell C LED Flashlight is a mid-size, high-performance LED flashlight designed for home, work, emergency preparedness, outdoor activities, vehicle use, security, and general-purpose illumination. Powered by two standard C-cell alkaline batteries, it produces up to 466 lumens, projects a beam up to 291 meters (approximately 955 feet), and delivers 21,197 candela of peak beam intensity. Three power levels provide 8 hours 15 minutes on High, 13 hours on Low, and up to 109 hours in Eco Mode. The ML50L 2C also features Maglite® Quick Focus® spot-to-flood adjustment, the QuickClik® electronic switch, four selectable function sets, LED Heat-Sink Technology, rugged machined aluminum construction, water resistance, and 1-meter drop resistance.

The ML50L 2C combines practical brightness, long-range beam performance, and extended battery life in a compact two-C-cell design. At maximum output, the flashlight produces 466 lumens and projects a focused beam up to 291 meters (approximately 955 feet) with 21,197 candela of peak beam intensity.

Three output levels allow light output and battery life to be matched to the task. High delivers 466 lumens for up to 8 hours 15 minutes, Low delivers 108 lumens for up to 13 hours, and Eco Mode delivers 25 lumens for up to 109 hours. The extended Eco runtime provides more than four days of continuous light for situations where conserving battery power is a priority.

2. LED Heat-Sink Technology with Quick Focus® Spot-to-Flood Beam Control

The ML50L 2C uses LED technology with LED Heat-Sink Technology to help manage heat produced by the LED and support efficient flashlight performance. Its optical system is paired with Maglite® Quick Focus®, giving the user fast control over beam shape directly from the flashlight head.

With approximately a ¼ turn of the head, the beam adjusts from a concentrated spot for longer-range viewing to a broad flood for illuminating a wider nearby area. This allows the same flashlight to transition quickly between distance viewing, general illumination, work tasks, and close-range use.

3. QuickClik® Multi-Mode Operation with 4 Selectable Function Sets

The ML50L 2C uses Maglite®'s QuickClik® electronic switch to provide multiple operating functions without requiring multiple switches. Available functions include Full Power, Low Power, Eco Mode, Momentary, and Strobe, with four selectable function sets that organize those functions according to different types of use.

The General function set provides Full Power, Low Power, and Eco. Outdoor provides Full Power, Low Power, and Strobe. Law Enforcement provides Momentary, Full Power, and Eco. Tactical provides Momentary, Full Power, and Strobe. The selected function set determines which function is accessed with one, two, or three clicks.

This activity-based system allows the flashlight to prioritize straightforward everyday operation or provide faster access to specialized functions such as Momentary and Strobe.
